In the above two blogs (links given), I've mentioned that you should gain knowledge, develop your own style of music, and start your journey to becoming an artist, but there is a difference.

If I talk about the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, things were different at that time, but today, things are different. Today, if you want to become an artist, you have to be a social media star. Yes, I’m serious. It’s true, but I’m not saying that you do unnecessary stuff to get followers. I mean, use social media to show your skills to earn followers.

So, let’s begin...

First things first, there is no shortcut to earning followers on social media. There are 2 types of followers:

1) Organic: Organic followers are real people who have found your Instagram channel through search engines, feeds, and shares. They are likely interested in the type of content that you publish on your channel.

2) Paid: Inorganic growth refers to follower growth that is not natural but forged. In contrast to organic growth, inorganic growth is faked by buying followers. Most of those fake followers are bots, most likely.

I advise you to start by developing your product before posting it on all open platforms. Start with organic followers rather than the paid follower scheme. Share it with your friends, acquaintances, coworkers, classmates, and family. You benefit from getting more engagements. I am aware that it takes a long time, but this is the process. To advance in this industry, you must have patience. It's not like you share one of your creations and overnight you have millions of fans. The majority of social media sites include some sort of mechanism, which we refer to as an algorithm, that enables people to publish and have it appear in the feeds of other users. You must thus observe and practice everything linked to your posts, such as which posts receive more impressions, which posts receive more engagement, and when your posts are most likely to be seen.

Impressions, Reach, and Engagements: What Are They?

Impressions: Impressions represent the total number of times users have seen your content on social media. Reach is distinct from impressions in that only those who are exposed to your content are counted, not those that click or interact with it. Your post would receive 500 impressions if it appeared 500 times on social media.

Reach: The overall number of individuals who view your material is known as "reach." Impressions are the total number of times that your material is shown, whether or not someone clicks on it. Consider reach as the quantity of distinct viewers of your material. In an ideal world, every piece of information you submit would be viewed by every one of your followers.

Engagement: The public's shares, likes, and comments on an online business's social media posts are used to gauge social media engagement. Although it doesn't always equate to revenue, engagement has historically been a standard metric for assessing social media effectiveness. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube are now the four most widely used social networking platforms. Users can show their gratitude for certain topics and posters using the platforms' own processes, which are weighted differently on each platform:

Twitter: Re-tweets and followers

Facebook: Shares, likes and followers

Instagram: Likes and followers

Youtube: Like, share, comments and subscribers.

You must participate in music competitions, whether they are online or offline, in addition to social media. It facilitates folks learning more about you. Searching for these competitions on Google is the easiest approach to enter them.

Yes, these are quite annoying, but they were our only option. if you want to get better. All of them, as well as the things from the previous two topics, need your attention.

Therefore, this concludes "What Should You Do To Become An Artist?" I'm hoping it will assist you in becoming established as an artist.
